Modern research has only just recently confirmed that white tea is good for your health. Packed with antioxidants, white tea is a tasteful way to benefit from the many micro-nutrients that enhance immune system functions.
It is made from the youngest buds, picked in Spring, before they are open and still covered in fine white hairs. The tea goes through two main steps of withering and baking but is handled quickly to avoid any amount of oxidation so that they contain absolutely no caffeine. Also by not being subjected to the 'rolling' processes, the fine white hairs and original look of the leaves are the least altered of any other tea class.
