 | Raw Loose Leaf Pu-er (a.k.a. Sheng Tai Qing Bing San Sheng Pu-er)
| Season: | 2006 | | | Origin: | Xishuanbanna, Yunnan Province | |
These leaves were taken from a silver winner ranked in the Organization Committee of the Fifth International Tea Appraisal by the International Institute of Tea and Culture - New York.
The leaves are from an original Sheng Tai Qing Bing cake produced by Yunnan Pumin Cha Ye Ltd. in 2006. We have made several of them available in loose format for easier and simpler usage.
Raw uncooked pu'er teas develop quite remarkably with age gaining more depth and mellowing their commonly astrigent edge. While most suitable of all teas for weight-loss, these leaves also produce an excellent tea-drinking experiene for anyone. Note that its current astringent flavour might come across to some as similar to an over-steeped green tea; so please be careful to steep quickly while pouring in the water gently at first. If you are new to raw pu'ers it is best to steep the tea even quicker. |
