Huang Shan Mao Feng tea has been grown in the Huangshan Mountain region of Anhui Province for more than three hundred years. It is picked in early April when it is young, and consists of only one unfolding, golden-yellow leaf and a bud covered with fine, ivory coloured hair. Our premium picking is noticeably drier than many othrs. The brewed tea is emerald-gold in colour and has a most unique flowery fragrance that is very different from our other green teas. Everything about this specific Huang Shan Mao Feng tea stands out from all others that we have tasted.
