* Although this tea is always referred to in name as a white tea, only the leaves themselves can be called white, whereas the production type is definitely green. Contrary to what many say, Anji White Tea is never produced as a white tea like other famous whites such as Bai Hao Silver Needle are. But the difference of using this leaf type in green production will be obvious from the extremely pale colour in the leaves after several infusions. |
