About the teas that you will receive from the Tea Taster Club

The purpose of the club is an effort at Golden Teahouse to show off all our great teas. Some will be teas that we simply love and have carried for a while and many will be new additions for which we are eager to get the word out. But the essential point is that this is our chance to show off to you once a month and impress you with what we believe you will enjoy. Each package will also come with information and tips to guide you through our month's new selection and ensure you can make the best of it.

How much tea will a 'sampler' make? This entirely depends on your tastes as well as the kind of tea specifically. Green teas will produce fewer infusions than an oolong or pu'er tea. It is safe to say that you can easily use 28g (one ounce) of leaves to produce a small pot of tea 20-40 times. That's a lot of tea! For instance we can often be seen steeping 8g of tea in our yixing pots for a minimum of 15 times before we decide to change to a new tea.
