 | Kuding (a.k.a. Bitter Tea, Ku Ding)
| Season: | Spring 2007 | | | Origin: | Sichuan Province | |
Kuding is both an alternative leaf infused for casual drinking as well as a medicinal healing. Chinese herbalists prescribe it to reduce the severity and length of colds, sinus infections, and sore throats. The brew is a strange blend of bitterness with a final sweet note. Often Kuding is used in a clear glass simply to display the leaves as they turn bright green and spin while releasing their flavor. |
