Our current Tie Guan Yin King (Guan Yin Wang) delivers the powerful fragrance and balanced aroma that we can expect out of a very high-end Chang Keng Anxi tea. Autumn Tie Guan Yins are much more sought after than the spring pickings, and this particular Tie Guan Yin is a great example of why this is the case. At Golden Teahouse this is the Tie Guan Yin of choice for impressing guests, and it hails from our favorite region as well. Our better premium grade is reserved only for special tasting occasions.
The Guan Yin King essence is reproduced infusion after infusion especially when brewed gongfu style. With such a high quality Tie Guan Yin, a small brewing vessel with very hot water and the right proportion of leaves becomes very important.
