This classic design is made out of a strong and long-lasting wood which will provide years of solid tea drinking use with little deterioration.
Use the board as a basic tray for steeping tea elegantly and most importantly - efficiently. Spilled water either by accident or while washing the leaves and cups will easily pass through to the plastic tray underneath. When finished for the day simply pull out the tray and dump the liquid.
