Included in this set is the traditional Yixing purple clay teapot for steeping the tea as well as four bone-white ceramic cups. The clay is well known for the way it can be seasoned over time for specific teas, as well as its generally fantastic durability at very high temperatures, Fully hand-made pots like this one are highly prized in the tea community. The tea board is a three-piece design that neatly fits together the base for collecting water, along with a raised platform and cover for storage. The quality of the bamboo materials and production are outstanding and can last a long time. Of course the basic bamboo accessories and glass Gongdaobei (decanting pot) are also included.
